Lesson Learnt: Keep It Simple!
Something That Applies To Personal Finance, Life & This Newsletter 😀
If you've been following my content journey over the last three years, you'd know that I consistently sent out newsletters—weekly, to be precise. However, as time passed, this practice became a cumbersome task. I complicated the process by adding unnecessary elements and pushed myself to the point where I eventually stopped sending out newsletters altogether.
Recently, I've been contemplating journaling and realized that this community of 2000 email subscribers (yes, it has grown substantially) is the perfect platform for me to journal and share weekly activities in a brief email.
This week's lesson, which I already knew but somehow forgot, is to keep things simple. This newsletter won't be updated on my website, and it won't feature any fancy photos to make it visually appealing. I'll keep it straightforward, short, and sweet 🥰.
I want to emphasize the importance of keeping things simple in whatever you do. Often, people complicate investing, which is actually a straightforward task. By adding unnecessary complexity, you're not doing yourself any favors. Most of the time, it involves saving most of the money you make, investing in straightforward assets like stocks and real estate, maintaining a reasonable debt level (if any), and ensuring you're maximizing your income within your means—while not wasting a single minute of your time.
Please forward this newsletter to people in your circle so I get incentivise to create better content on this platform as well - Sneak peak for tomorrow’s video on the YouTube channel - It’s the most requested topic about my PSX portfolio.
